The Thermapen IR combines two instruments in one: a non-contact infrared thermometer and a thermometer with a foldaway probe, ideal for measuring surface and internal temperatures in kitchens and industrial applications.
Simply point at the target and press the button to display the temperature over a range of -49.9 to +349.9°C with a 0.1°C resolution. It includes a MAX/MIN temperature function.
The distance-to-spot ratio is 5:1, so the thermometer should be positioned as close as possible to the target. The default emissivity is 0.95 but can be adjusted in 0.01 increments up to 1.

FOLDAWAY PROBE
Alternatively, the temperature of liquids or semi-liquids can be measured using the penetration probe (Ø3.3 x 120mm). The probe is food-safe stainless steel. Direct the device for infrared readings or use the probe for precise measurements, with a 360° auto-rotating display, motion-sensing sleep mode, and Biomaster protection for hygiene.
